Association will participate, in March, in two events dedicated to startups: bossa summit and South Summit Brazil 2023

São Paulo, March 21, 2023 – ABES – Brazilian Association of Software Companies will participate in several events throughout 2023. In March, the Association is confirmed to be present at Bossa Summit, biggest event in Brazil dedicated to connecting startups and investors, which takes place on March 23 and 24, 2023 in São Paulo. ABES will be present with a stand, in which it will present the benefits and advantages of being a member, and the ABES Startup Internship Program, whose objective is to strengthen entrepreneurship and attract talents and investments to the Brazilian technology sector.

Next, between the 29th and 31st of March, ABES will be present at the South Summit Brazil 2023, which takes place at Cais Mauá, in Porto Alegre. The event, which aims to foster connections between startups, companies and global investment funds to generate business opportunities and high-value connections, brings together the main trends and innovations that mark the present and future of the national and international industry and will bring a grid full of national and international speakers, among them, Rodolfo Fücher, President of the Board of ABES. The highlight of the event, the Startups Competition, which has been taking place globally for ten years and has already had more than 10 billion dollars invested, will have 2,020 participants this year (more than double the number registered in the previous edition), who will present projects of any sector and at any stage of development. Five will win, one in each category – Outstanding, Most Sustainable, Most Scalable, Most Innovative and Best Team – and each of them will receive a computer, which will be presented by ABES.

For Paulo Milliet Roque, President of ABES, the two events function as a showcase of Brazilian business to the world. “It is an honor to participate in meetings that aim to connect startups, global investment funds and companies. We will present the ABES Startup Internship Program, which was conceived to help emerging companies that use technology intensively and wish to operate or expand their activities in Brazil to overcome the complexities involved in the market. Program participants have access to all the experience we have accumulated over more than 36 years in the legal, regulatory, tax and marketing areas”, he declares.
