Movement adds more than 200 multinational clients to the company

ADP, one of the largest providers of technology solutions for human capital management in the world, announces the acquisition of Celergo, a provider of payroll management services in 150 countries. The company was founded in 2003, headquartered in Chicago, in the United States, and combines its own cloud-based technology with a local service network for the generation of punctual and accurate payrolls, with guaranteed compliance.

Because of this corporate profile, the movement expands ADP's global presence, strengthening its platform with new solutions, including transactions between currencies, international payment services and the possibility of treating expatriates.

In addition to the new offers, Celergo complements ADP's operations with more than 200 multinational clients and an experienced team in international payroll management, a priority area for the company.

“The acquisition of Celergo expands our human capital management capacity across countries, in addition to improving the experience of our customers and contributing to revenue growth. The move complements the recent acquisitions of Global Cash Card and WorkMarket, aiming to meet the changes suffered by companies in the profile of their teams, with freelancers and part-time, who need flexible payroll solutions ”, comments Carlos Rodriguez, CEO global ADP.

The acquisition of Celergo also strengthens the Brazilian operation in Latin America, which today represents 73% in the region, in addition to supporting its growth. “The business reinforces our position as a world leader, accelerating our growth and putting us at a competitive advantage for negotiations with global customers. Thus, our expectation is to continue to grow double digits in 2019, investing especially in technology and innovation ”, points out Cesar Marinho, president of ADP Brasil.

The payroll outsourcing market for companies with global operations already exceeds US$ 3 billion and continues to grow. This is due to the growing search by corporations for more efficiency in the management of compliance elements, especially with regard to processes involving several countries.
