Adobe and MCR Software open minutes for the public sector to acquire thousands of licenses with less bureaucracy

Purpose of the new Price Registration Minutes is to facilitate the hiring of technology giant tools by public institutions in 2023

Adobe, in partnership with the reseller of MCR software, formalized, through a bidding process, a Price Registration Minute (ARP) for the offer of more than 15 thousand licenses of Creative Cloud and Acrobat Pro DC solutions to public bodies , including the education sector. The main advantage of ARPs for these institutions is the reduction of financial, time and staff costs, in comparison with the traditional bidding process. 

The technology giant recognizes that public sector companies are investing more and more in innovation and digital transformation projects, but they run into lengthy processes in hiring technologies and services that help them in this digitalization. 

“This ARP encourages various public bodies at the Federal, State and Municipal levels to simplify and accelerate the acquisition and use of digital tools in their own routines”, explains Adobe's Channel account manager, Karollyne Souza. 

The partnership with MCR Software, Adobe's platinum-level authorized reseller, is also recognized for supporting the government market, working with the sector for over 20 years. “In addition to being a software resale channel, we have a department highly specialized in supporting and consulting for the implementation and effective use of these solutions in the public sector”, says Roberto Abrahão, CEO of MCR. 

According to the executive, a common bidding process for a municipality to contract any demand for software takes an average of nine months. Through the minutes, this period is reduced to a maximum of three days.  

MCR ARP with Adobe software expires in November 2023 and has a limited number of licenses per contract.
