Initiative aims to show photos without stereotypes or clichés and remunerate professionals for the work performed

In order to portray and give visibility to diversity as it really is – without stereotypes or clichés – Adobe has made available on Adobe Stock a series of photos that show the daily lives of a gay couple and their adopted daughter. The idea of the Família É Família project is to show different and real family configurations. Any interested photographer can contribute to the project and be paid for their work.

“Diversity is an important value for Adobe. We want to demystify preconceived concepts and show real families, who are happy and fulfilled the way they live. This new collection is also an opportunity for photographers, whose photos serve the purpose of the project, to be able to display them and get paid for doing so”, said Gabriela Viana, Marketing Director for Latin America at Adobe.

In addition to Brazil, Adobe maintains galleries that praise diversity in other countries, such as the United States, France and the United Kingdom. Some of the photos can be viewed at the link: https://adobe.ly/2QE7kVb  (photo credit: Image source: DigitalBR / Adobe Stock).

Aware of the importance of supporting initiatives that promote diversity, Adobe also recently led the project “(In)visible women”, the first collection to highlight the diversity of Brazilian women.
