With positive annual growth in the regiondistributor strengthens local operations with portfolio diversity and exclusive service to partner channels

Adistec, one of the largest value-added IT distributors in Latin America, announces expansion of operations in the Central-West region with growth in the base of partner channels. Present in the region since 2017, today Adistec has more than 100 active channels in the Central-West and aims to expand its representation in the region by 10% in 2024. To this end, the company has invested in hiring local professionals specialized in behavioral profiling of the region's market.

The Midwest is one of the main regions in the company's expansion strategy for 2024 due to its relevance in the public sector and the potential of agribusiness, one of the sectors that has invested the most in technology in the last five years. Currently, the region accounts for around 10% of the company's total profit. This percentage is expected to grow even further by the end of the year, mainly due to new partnerships, portfolio diversity and territorial expansion.

“In 2017, we consolidated our presence in the region by hiring an exclusive channel manager dedicated to supporting local resellers. Since then, we have accumulated average annual growth of at least 10% in the Midwest. This strategy has been yielding good results and we are investing in business expansion to other relevant cities in the region”, says José Roberto Rodrigues, country manager Brazil and alliances manager LATAM at Adistec.

According to Rodrigues, having this close contact with the channel network, a portfolio of innovative solutions and understanding the region's peculiarities have made all the difference in generating new business.

“Working with the Midwest is challenging. Our main client here is the Public sector and this requires us to have in-depth knowledge of government regulations, acquisition policies, contracts and specific certifications”, explains Kleber Figueira, channel manager for the Central-West region of Adistec Brasil.

Meeting the requirements of manufacturers in the portfolio, Adistec achieved CertiGov certification. This certification represents an essential differentiator in the technology sector, guaranteeing the quality, security and compliance of the systems and services offered. “This is just one example of a rule that we have to pay attention to here. The Midwest is a complex region, but it also allows us to work with big brands and decision-makers. Here we need to be able to adapt our products, services and solutions to meet the specific and demanding needs of the public sector, demonstrating flexibility and ability to respond quickly to customer demands”, adds Figueira.

Regional Expansion

In addition to the public sector, agribusiness continues to require Adistec solutions as digital transformation gains more strength in the field. “Agribusiness is increasingly technological, demanding solutions to increase productivity, process optimization, IT infrastructure, and, mainly, the adoption of emerging technologies, such as AI, IoT, Big Data, machine learning and data analysis”, he comments. Kleber Figueira.

According to Adistec's channel manager, the city of Brasília still represents the largest portion of partners in the region and therefore will continue to be the distributor's biggest focus of activity, but other metropolises have also been standing out in the region and are already in Adistec's plan. for the expansion of regional operations, such as Cuiabá, Campo Grande, Goiânia and Anápolis, which are relevant both in agribusiness and in industries in the automotive sector. “The Midwest is a strong, strategic and constantly evolving region. We want to be increasingly closer to our partners, as our commitment goes far beyond offering products and services, but rather being a right hand to our channels, adding value, enabling resellers to innovate in project deliveries”, concludes Figueira.
