Event to guide IT sector takes place on August 5th, in Florianópolis
The entry into force of eSocial in 2015, a federal government project that intends to consolidate tax, social security and labor information, is generating a series of doubts for entrepreneurs about their future obligations. To guide employers in the IT sector, the Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies (ACATE) takes the topic for debate at Verticalmoço, which takes place on August 5, at the Maria do Mar Hotel, in Florianópolis (SC).
The director of the Syndicate of Accounting, Advice, Consultancy, Expertise, Information and Research Companies of Greater Florianópolis (Sescon), Tereza de Jesus Alves, will explain to members the objectives of eSocial – created to facilitate inspection and fight tax evasion – and requirements for employers. “This obligation requires employers to adapt, but we realize that there is still uncertainty regarding the ability to meet the deadline for adequacy and the quality of the information that will be transmitted”, stresses Everton Gubert, vice president of ACATE.
Venture capital – On the same occasion, starting at 2 pm, businessmen who wish to expand their businesses and find out about venture capital opportunities for IT companies will be able to follow a lecture by the partner of fund manager Performa Investimentos, Humberto Matsuda. The specialist will talk about the internationalization of investments in technology-based companies, highlighting the main initiatives being carried out by the financial market and the promotion of venture capital investments: international venture capital, mentoring of startups, immersion in Silicon Valley, accelerators , post-accelerators and geek camps.
