Seeking innovative solutions that meet the growing demands of the organization, Aché Laboratórios migrated its SAP ERP platform to SAP HANA. The initiative aimed to increase the performance of operations and facilitate the organizational processes of the Brazilian company 100%, a leader in medical prescription in Brazil, which has almost 4,500 employees and has a gross revenue of R$ 5.16 billion.

With the support of the SAP Consulting team, the project was supported by the main business areas of the Aché Group: Biosintética, Magenta, Mafra and Propecus. “There were more than 100 employees involved in the project”, says Leandro Roldão, Aché's Systems Project manager. “With everyone's cooperation, GoLive happened in just 4 months”, he adds.

According to Leandro Roldão, Aché already registers several benefits provided by the new SAP HANA platform. “We have seen significant gains in terms of storing information about supply chain processes; savings from database licensing and downsizing of the necessary infrastructure for servers ”, points out Roldão.

More efficiency

Another positive impact for the executive was the improvement in efficiency. The reduction in cash flow time in some transactions went from two hours to three minutes. The issuance of invoices for the transport composition was also significantly reduced. Other advantages were registered in some accounting closing processes, which started to be processed online, instantly.

Orlando Cintra, vice president of Sales at SAP, also highlights that integrating and coordinating a project involving such a large number of professionals was one of the biggest challenges presented by migration. “For the first time in Brazil, a combination of tools was implemented in parallel with SAP HANA, which offers planning and optimization functionalities in different business processes, demand planning, supply, production planning, detailed programming of the global demands available and transportation management to the supply chain company ”.
