WOW accelerator opens selection for startups

Applications for innovative projects can be made until August 16

 
 The WOW accelerator, from Porto Alegre, opened registration for the new startup selection process. Companies that are in two stages of development can participate: “pre-operational” (those that already have a prototype, but do not generate revenue) and “growing” (startups with proven traction and revenue). The accelerator already has 15 accelerated startups and the current goal is to choose five more projects, which should initially receive from R$ 50 thousand to R$ 150 thousand each.
 
In addition to financial support, the accelerator makes organizational infrastructure, mentoring and networking available to selected startups, based on the construction of winning business models that guarantee the success of the ventures. Among the target markets are: agribusiness, biotechnology and health, energy and efficiency, internet and mobile B2B, oil and gas, retail technologies.
 
Entries can be made until August 16th and the finalists will be announced on October 24th, on “WOW Day”.
