Startups in the ideation phase will be able to integrate StartLab, a new strategic program aligned with ACATE's methodology

The Santa Catarina Technology Association (ACATE) has just launched a new strategic program, StartLab. The program aims to help technology-based startups in the ideation phase to develop their business models and reach higher levels of maturity. Through the ACATE methodology of entrepreneur and startup development, companies will have access to the ACATE mentor network, in addition to exemption from tuition during the program. To participate, companies need to be associated with the entity or be in the association process. Registration is open at this link: http://bit.ly/startlab_acate.

The StartLab will be located at CIA Sapiens Parque and will house, in addition to early stage startups, innovation teams from large companies that already recognize the importance of integrating the innovation ecosystem for its continuous updating. “The program arises from the understanding that everyday life in an inspiring environment and new connections is extremely beneficial for early-stage startups, who need support and methodology to develop their business. It is also advantageous for innovation teams, which can leave the more formal environment of companies and have the opportunity to develop new projects in an environment conducive to creativity”, explains Gabriel Sant'Anna, executive director of ACATE.

The environment in which the StartLab will be installed will be fully collaborative, which favors the innovation teams of large companies by promoting an immersion in this culture, in addition to the opportunity to act as protagonists of the ecosystem in the search for innovation and gain even more visibility. “All this in addition to the other benefits that ACATE members can enjoy, such as access to all other strategic programs (Business Verticals, MIDITEC and LinkLab), networking events, investor network, etc.”, adds Gabriel.

StartLab is part of ACATE's Strategic Programs, developed to meet the main demands of the technology sector in the State, seeking to generate connections, support new businesses and discuss topics of interest to associates, with the ultimate goal of strengthening the technology and innovation ecosystem. from Santa Catarina.
