Initiative seeks talent retention in technology companies
In order to help member companies retain their talent and, consequently, develop their business, the Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies (ACATE) will launch TECPrevi, a pension plan for technology companies, on October 23rd. The event is free and will be held at Espaço Floripa (Fields), starting at 7pm.
For the president of ACATE, the launch of a pension plan that serves the entity itself and associated and affiliated companies represents yet another added service, as a way of encouraging employees. “It is a people management tool, which favors the valorization of professionals and the reduction of turnover in companies”, he explains.
TECPrevi seeks to bring advantages to both the employer and the employee. For companies, a pension plan can reduce turnover, offer tax incentives, establish a good image with the public and promote employee appreciation. Six companies associated with ACATE have already joined the pension plan as founders – necessary for the Plan's approval in Brasília. They are: Agriness, Reason, Link Precision, Power Opticks, Catamoeda and Boreste.
Adherence to TECPrevi may also bring tax advantages to investors. According to the director of Data A, Tulnê Vieira, investors will be able to participate in committees and governance bodies and will have lower management fees, compared to those practiced in the market, and profitability will also be higher. “The plan is complete, covering retirement, disability and death; and works as a long-term savings. The beneficiary will have access to all information about his plan, which will be online, in a restricted area”.
According to Vieira, the TECPrevi structure will guarantee the security of the business, as the administration of resources will be outsourced, with large banks (AAA). The plan will allow portability and different types of contributions. “The model can be adapted and customized in a differentiated way to the demand of each company”, he highlights.
