Entrepreneurs from the IT sector will make technical visits and
will participate in the DEMO Fall
 
 
Businesspeople and executives from the technology sector in Santa Catarina embarked on Friday (14) for a mission to Silicon Valley, promoted by the Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies (ACATE) and Softex Recife. The Executive Secretary and Market Director of the Association, Gabriel Sant'Ana Palma Santos and Daniel Leipnitz, respectively, are part of the initiative, whose main objective is to seek partnerships and sign cooperation and exchange agreements in the areas of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
 
Until November 23, companies VEC, Softcon, Khomp, Callisto, Palmsoft, Ionics and BZPLAN will carry out a series of technical visits to organizations such as CISCO, Apple, Nextflix, Google, Standford Research Institute, as well as entities and universities that are references worldwide in the segment. Among the companies The mission, which is supported by Softex, also foresees participation in the DEMO Fall, aimed at the launch of technological innovation and which will be held from November 18th to 20th.
 
“We hope to learn about trends and best practices in the technology segment, but also to open doors for relationships, through official visits, which may yield results in the future. There is great potential in the visit to the Stanford Research Institute (SRI), with which we have already had contact through the institution's president, Curtis Carlson, who visited us in March of this year”, says ACATE's market director, Daniel Leipnitz .
