Upon completing 25 years of its foundation in 2011, ABES celebrated great achievements in the defense of intellectual property. The approval of the new Software Law in Brazil, the recognition of software as a service and the inclusion of the software sector in the Plano Brasil Maior were important milestones in this journey. It was in this context that ABES decided to create an annual event to debate issues relevant to the ICT sector. This is how the ABES Conference for IT Solutions was born, later evolving into the ABES Software Conference and, in 2024, becoming the ABES SUMMIT.

ABES SUMMIT is a dynamic event that anticipates transformations in the sector and society. Addressing emerging and relevant themes linked to information technology, trends and socioeconomic development, each edition has contributed significantly to expanding the discussion on the entire ICT market in Brazil and around the world. ABES' fundamental purpose is to actively contribute to the construction of a MORE DIGITAL and LESS INEQUAL BRAZIL, reflecting its commitment to innovation and digital inclusion.
