For association, a theme is essential for economic development and
of Brazil, especially in the face of the new knowledge society and the digital transformation process

Sao Paulo, May 18, 2019 - The Brazilian Association of Software Companies - ABES, this Wednesday, May 20, at 2:30 pm (Brasília time), representatives of important Federal Government bodies to present the credit lines offered to companies, the support policies to innovation, and the Ministry of Economy's vision and perspectives regarding business competitiveness during and after the pandemic. The online event has free registrations on the website https://www.sympla.com.br/ABESSOFTWARE. The nomination is free for all audiences and will be transmitted through the ABES on Facebook or in association YouTube channel.

Faced with the pandemic scenario caused by Covid-19, the Government was pressured to act with measures to mitigate the economic effects of the pandemic, calm the market, increase investor confidence, guarantee income, control unemployment rates and make available packages of credit that guarantee cash flow and liquidity to companies of different sizes. "We consider it essential that companies are aware of these instruments and the way they operate, so that they can identify those that best suit their business and their market objectives. We emphasize that it is important to have a broad view of innovation, as it can occur in products, services, technologies or processes, be disruptive or incremental. "

For ABES, technology has a fundamental role to contribute to the economic recovery in the country, but companies need to prepare themselves to remain competitive in this new scenario. For this reason, the association updated the Promotion Guide for the technological sector, produced in partnership with ABGI, a consultancy specializing in tax incentives, innovation management and financial management - which provides information on the main mechanisms and programs, with their respective lines of action. financing or tax incentives to support innovation in Brazil.

In this webinar, ABES will count on the mediation of journalist Ana Paula Lobo, responsible for Convergência Digital, a reference portal in specialized ICT journalism. To compose the debate table, ABES invited:

Carlos Azen - Planning, Studies and Products Manager for IT, Telecom and Creative Economy at BNDES;
