Experts will discuss how to deal with human capital in the virtual world as a result of social isolation

The arrival of the new coronavirus completely changed the relationship between people and business. And currently, habits, customs and management of companies have been modified by a fast and intense insertion into the digital world: now with a "click" or touch of the screen it is possible to make purchases, chat with family and friends, close sales and weekly meetings with the teams.

"In the face of digital acceleration, senior management and business councils need to think about new forms of management and seek greater knowledge about governance," explains Anderson Godz, Board Member, Investor and Founder Gonew Co.

With this scenario, companies and employees reflect on how digital transformations have changed relationships at work and question the future and professional skills when the "new normal" arrives. With this in mind, ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies, invites specialists to a webinar in order to discuss and resolve questions from participants about human capital expectations and digitalization of processes in the HR department. The virtual event takes place next Wednesday (8), at 2:30 pm. Free registrations must be made on the website http://www.sympla.com.br/abessoftware.

"Social isolation forced everyone to migrate to the virtual world, where interactions came to depend solely and exclusively on technological tools. Given this new environment, we need to review all concepts on how to deal with employees. New skills become important, they go beyond simply dealing with new technological resources, but also in how to perform their functions in an "isolated" way, without talking about coffee, how to deal with the emotional side, how to ensure the feeling of belonging, of the team. In short, there are countless challenges that we need to address in order to have a cohesive and committed team. Obviously there is no simple answer, but we are together in this learning process ", comments ABES president, Rodolfo Fücher.

According to Valéria Carinhato, partner and co-founder of Weplace, "the digital transformation brings a new understanding on the part of organizations. On the one hand, some see the need to be ready for cultural adjustments and renew the forms of leadership. On the other hand, companies understand the needs of having adaptable and flexible professionals to frequent changes. Emphasizing that these movements must predominate the strategic and innovative vision for business, and must be combined with interpersonal skills to sustain the performance of the organization going forward ", he reveals.
