ABES promoted, on August 1st, a training about its Integrity Program, in which it brought together directors, directors, employees, as well as committee and work group coordinators.   
 
Given by ABES' compliance officer, Carolina Marzano, the presentation aimed to highlight the association's guidelines, which are included in its code of ethics and Conduct and in the Interaction Policy with Public Agents.

Based on the rules, Carolina presented examples of situations in daily life, in which the guidelines apply, for example, when delivering or receiving corporate gifts; in the rendering of expense accounts when in the service of the entity; in meetings and meetings with authorities, among other occasions.
 
“Our objective is to enable them to identify, prevent, deal with and communicate situations of risk or with signs of irregularities and, above all, encourage the culture of governance and compliance in the ICT sector. We have been intensifying this program since 2018. We studied, sought external guidance and were aligned with the guidelines of the Federal Comptroller General's Office”, he highlighted.
 
Transparent management and an ethical company
 
As part of the Integrity Program, the periodic training are essential to strengthen the program and keep people in tune with the values, practices and objectives of the association, which also has a whistleblower channel own.
 
Rodolfo Fücher and Francisco Camargo, executive and board presidents of ABES, respectively, reiterated the importance of transparent management in the entity. In addition to the internal focus, ABES's goal is to encourage discussions that promote more ethics in the ICT market and, through the initiative “An Ethical Company, make associates develop integrity programs in their companies.

The initiative's communication strategy “An Ethical Company highlights the relevance of ethical and moral standards in management and the positive impact of implementing Integrity Programs, based on policies and practices that inhibit corruption and unfair competition.
