Entity invites associates to discuss the proposal at a meeting on 07/14
The strengthening of the Brazilian software and technical services market depends on the participation of companies in the elaboration of projects aimed at improving the regulatory frameworks relevant to the sector.
Given this scenario, ABES invites its members to a meeting, on July 14, at 3 pm, at the entity's headquarters, to deliberate on the proposal to create the Tax Working Group, under the coordination of Luiz Guilherme de Medeiros Ferreira , of the associate IBM Brazil.
The idea of creating this working group emerged from the meetings of the Regulatory Committee, to which it will be linked. “We identified a concern with this topic shared by several participants and we decided to go a little deeper into this discussion and the forwarding of projects”, explains Carlos Sacco, ABES' marketing director.
The new WG will be responsible for studying topics related to taxation of operations with software and other information technology services; propose to ABES, through the Regulatory Committee, actions related to the taxation of these activities; in addition to disseminating information, tips or suggestions on the subject to other associates, a fundamental topic for the smooth running of business and increasing the competitiveness of Brazilian companies.
