'Connected Cities' will be the theme of the event on 09/18

 

ABES, supporter of Connected Smart Cities, the most important event related to the smart cities ecosystem in Latin America, to be held on September 17 and 18, 2019 at the Frei Caneca Convention Center, will be part of the program with the workshop “Connected Cities”. Scheduled for September 18, starting at 9 am, the workshop will feature speakers who will discuss topics of relevance in cities, such as cyber risks and security, Artificial intelligence, data and ethics and platforms that contribute to offering transparency to citizens. of smart and connected cities.
 
According to Jamile Sabatini Marques, director of Innovation and Development at the association, ABES has been developing initiatives and participating in actions that contribute, through the use of new technologies, to the development of smart cities in Brazil. “Our vision of smart cities is focused on people, with improvements in citizens' lives made possible by new technologies. With this workshop, we want to put on the agenda issues for reflection by society, academia, government officials and entrepreneurs, who contribute to the conduction of smart city projects in Brazil”, he emphasizes.
