supporter of Connected Smart Cities, which will be held on September 4th and 5th, 2018, at the Frei Caneca Convention Center, in São Paulo, ABES has been developing initiatives and participating in actions that contribute, through the use of new technologies, to the development of cities in Brazil and digital transformation. ABES members have a discount on registration for the event.
 
Therefore, ABES will promote the Connected Cities Workshop, in the Villa Lobos room, on September 4th (Wednesday), from 1 pm to 6 pm. It will be an afternoon of debates as part of the general program of Connect Smart Cities, in order to discuss various points of relevance in cities, such as: cyber risks and security, data protection, compliance, ways to foster and develop cities, education and citizen empowerment of smart and connected cities.
 
“Our vision of smart cities is focused on people, on promoting the improvement of citizens' lives. Our workshop has a very diversified program, with challenging and very current themes. We want to put on the agenda issues for reflection by society, academia, government officials and entrepreneurs, in order to discuss ways to effectively improve people's lives, in relevant areas such as safety, health and education", highlights Jamile Sabatini Marques, director of Innovation and ABES support.
