ABES, in partnership with the São José dos Campos Technological Park (PqTec), promoted on October 26, from 8 am to 12 pm, a course on the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) for representatives and employees of the startups incubated in the organization .
PqTec is a partner of ABES Startup Internship Program, a program that aims to strengthen entrepreneurship, support startups, attract talent and investment funds for the Brazilian technology sector.
Participants learned about best practices in privacy and data protection, how to reduce the risk of incidents and spread a culture focused on data protection. The course was offered exclusively to companies linked to PqTec.
With four hours of duration and certificate of completion, the course was in person and taught by Dr. Thomaz Côrte Real, Legal Consultant at ABES; Francisco Espuny, Systems and Data Privacy and Protection Specialist at Fundação Vanzolin; Daniela Caverni, lawyer and partner at EFCAN Advogados; and Carlos Reolon, Project Manager for LGPD at IBM and with an MBA in Cybersecurity.
Gabriel Heleno, ABES Commercial Leader, participated in the meeting to talk about the differentials of ABES and the ABES Startup Internship Program.
