Bruno Bioni and Renato Leite Monteiro, from Data Privacy Brasil, will be the speakers

ABES, in partnership with Data Privacy Brasil, will hold the lecture “General Data Protection Law (LGPD) - Impacts, Perspectives and Trends”, on February 5, at 9 am, in the Colibri Room of the Hotel Bourbon Convention Ibirapuera, Av. Ibirapuera, 2927, in São Paulo.

The lecture will be given by Bruno Bioni and Renato Leite Monteiro, founders of Data Privacy Brasil, who has been working to spread knowledge about the impact of information technologies on privacy and protection of personal data.

Sanctioned in August 2018, the LGPD (Law 13,709 / 18) had some articles amended by MP 870, signed by President Jair Bolsonaro, which confirmed the creation of the Data Protection Authority linked to the presidency of the republic and changed some articles and expanded the deadline for the law to take effect (now scheduled for August 2019). On the other hand, cases of data leakage have occurred and have been analyzed based on the legal instruments currently available in Brazil, such as the Marco Civil da Internet.

Registration for the lecture must be made exclusively by e-mail eventos@abes.org.br. The message must contain the name of the participant, company, telephone and e-mail.
