ABES promotes event with José Roberto Mendonça de Barros and Emerson Kapaz on June 12

It is the first edition of ABES DIGITAL COFFEE

Starting the day well informed about important topics that directly impact the business of its members is ABES 'objective when holding the first edition of ABES DIGITAL COFFEE, on June 12, 2018, starting at 8:30 am, at the Hotel Macksoud Plaza, in Sao Paulo.
 
The first meeting, exclusively for members, will discuss the economic scenario and the political situation in Brazil, with the participation of economist José Roberto Mendonça de Barros and businessman Emerson Kapaz, who will present their analyzes and perspectives, with full interaction of the participants.

José Roberto Mendonça de Barros
Economist, with a doctorate from the University of São Paulo and a postdoctoral fellow at the Economic Growth Center, Yale University (USA). Author of several works, including the book “Growing up is not easy”. He was Secretary of Economic Policy of the Ministry of Finance (95/98). Founder of MB Associados, an economic consultancy that serves approximately 50 of the largest Brazilian companies and financial institutions. Currently, he is also a member of the FEBRABAN Advisory Council and columnist for the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo.
 

Emerson Kapaz
Businessman, graduated in civil engineering, with a postgraduate degree in business administration. He was one of the creators of the ABRINQ Foundation, created to defend the rights of children and adolescents. He served as Secretary of Science, Technology and Economic Development of São Paulo (94/98) and was also a Federal Deputy for the state (98/2002). He is currently a partner at ALEK Consultoria Empresarial, which advises the CEO of national and multinational companies, and Director of GD Solar, a leading company in the implementation of solar parks in the country.
