On the 20th of June, ABES offers its members the course Fundraising for Innovation - Concepts and Practice, which will be taught by Inventta, a consultancy from the Instituto de Inovação, which, over the last few years, has helped dozens of companies to make investments in technological innovation viable, through the use of public mechanisms to support the improvement of solutions, and the structuring of more adequate projects, processes and controls.
This course is part of the association's efforts to provide entrepreneurs in the sector with all available resources to encourage technological innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of companies.
According to Inventta, the consultancy has already raised more than R$ 550 million in tax incentives, subsidies and financing in recent years. “The course aims to encourage innovation in the work environment and help entrepreneurs transform ideas and creativity into commercially viable products and services,” explains Jamile.
Open to the public, the course, with limited spaces, will cost R$ 390.00 for ABES members and R$ 590.00 for non-members. The workload will be 8 hours and will have the following programmatic content:
- Brazilian context and types of financial resources for innovation;
- Main sources of innovation promotion;
- Reimbursable and non-reimbursable funding sources;
- International mechanisms to promote innovation;
- Comparison of the main sources of funding;
- Strategic approach to raising funds for innovation in companies;
- Good practices in the elaboration of Projects for Innovation.
