ABES participates in the FIESP Congress of Micro and Small Industry

ABES Legal Director participated in a panel on Productivity

ABES participated in the 10th edition of the Micro and Small Industry Congress, on May 25, at the Renaissance Hotel, in São Paulo. The event is organized by the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Industry of FIESP (Federation of Industry of the State of São Paulo).

In this edition, the congress had as its main theme “You are the leader” – inspire, innovate, motivate and conquer. Dr. Manoel dos Santos, Legal Director of ABES, led the panel “Productivity – Conduct, Evaluate and Improve”, where he spoke on the topic 'Legal Protection'. The presentation addressed practical tools that support the day-to-day management of entrepreneurs, generating and measuring information and direct results, such as management software, information controls and process management.

Among the topics of the lecture, Dr. Manoel discussed the IT Market in Brazil, the loss that associates have when using piracy, presenting a summary of software protection legislation and repressive and educational actions that Abes implements, such as: monitoring the internet, advertising sites; the Legal Entrepreneur Portal and the Software Asset Management Manual.

ABES' participation in this congress was part of the Legal Entrepreneur Initiative, created by the entity's Intellectual Property Defense committee, which aims to combat unfair competition and foster national competitiveness, exploring the importance of using legal software, among Brazilian entrepreneurs from any segment.
