Gérson Schmitt presented a lecture on the software sector
ABES participated in the Seminar “Perspectives for the IT Sector”, on June 26, at BM&FBovespa, in São Paulo. The meeting aimed to bring together the main representatives of the sector to exchange experiences and discuss the perspectives of the IT market.
In addition to ABES, the event featured speakers from entities: APIMEC (Association of Capital Market Investment Analysts and Professionals); BNDES (National Development Bank); IDC Brazil; Brasscom (Brazilian Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies); and Abinee (Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association).
Gérson Schmitt, president of the Board of ABES, gave a lecture on the current scenario and trends in the IT market, how to prepare for competition and the perspectives for the software sector.
Master in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, Gérson Schmitt is also chairman of the board of directors at Paradigma Business Solutions S/A and was president of ABES from 2010 to 2013. “Meetings like this are a great opportunity for sector representatives can express their opinion and also discuss the market situation”, comments Schmitt.
