ABES participated, on June 4, in the Meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Start-Up Brazil Program, scheduled by the Secretary of Information Technology Policy of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), Virgílio Almeida, with the objective of discussing with committee members on the results achieved in the program's first year of operation, in addition to presenting future actions and challenges, and offering an opening for suggestions for new partners and support for the program.

“We see great opportunities for new developers in the Brazilian technology market and we believe that incentives like this, created by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), within the TI Maior Program, can be decisive for a young company”, says Jorge Sukarie , president of ABES.

During the event, the president of ABES had the opportunity to present the Support Program for Incubators and Startups, implemented by the entity. This action allows young companies to participate more actively in the associative movement and receive essential services so that they can accelerate and qualify their development. With this program, ABES started to participate in or support the organization and management of new projects for incubators and for the promotion of Startups. It also started to agree on existing qualified projects so that they can count on the support of sectoral and legal knowledge and services offered to associates.
