ABES 'Relationship and Services Director, Carlos Sacco, will actively participate in the actions and will present several lectures

ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies) will be present at the Mtech mission, a group that promotes the exchange of knowledge in the technology sector between Brazilian and Portuguese representatives. With the support of several companies and organizations, the group will participate in a series of events in Portugal: between the 5th and the 9th of November, in Lisbon; and from 12 to 16 in the north of the country - visiting companies and following events. ABES 'Relationship and Services Director, Carlos Sacco, will actively participate in the actions and will present several lectures.

“The Brazilian technology sector has a lot to gain from an exchange with our Portuguese brothers - and vice versa. In addition to the language facilitator and so many cultural similarities, we have two countries that are increasingly aware of the importance of investing in the ICT sector. The meetings will help us to delve deeper into issues that go beyond technology itself, as well as legal and tax areas, as well as the opportunity to form bilateral agreements ”, comments Carlos Sacco.
The Director of ABES will make, in Lisbon, two presentations on the Brazilian software market, informing the Portuguese public about the trends and data of the last year. In the north of Portugal, Sacco will pass through cities such as Coimbra, Aveiro, Ílhavo, Porto, Braga and Guimarães. In each of them, it will exhibit a presentation by ABES aiming at the two-way internationalization of companies from both countries.

The schedule of events also includes visits to WebSummit, in Lisbon, between the 5th and 8th of November. Considered the largest global technology conference, it has been held since 2016 in Lisbon and had about 60 thousand participants in the last edition, from 170 different nationalities.

Continuing the agenda of international missions, ABES will be present, still in 2019, in two events that will be attended by the Director of Promotion and Innovation, Jamile Sabatini Marques: Smart City Expo World Congress 2018, in Barcelona, from 10 to 18 from November; and The 11th Knowledge Cities World Summit, in Tenerfie, Canary Islands, from 18 to 23 November.
