PL 4330/2004 is scheduled to be voted on April 7

Union representatives from companies and workers in the outsourced service sector met on Thursday (03/19) with the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Eduardo Cunha (PMDB-RJ), to discuss the impacts of the approval of PL 4330/2004 , which provides for outsourcing contracts and the labor relations arising therefrom, whose vote is scheduled for April 7.

Cunha does not believe that it will be a matter of easy approval, since it will allow the outsourcing of the main activity of the company, highlighting the problems raised by the government, among them the security of the worker in the job, the increase of micro and small companies, what he called “ pejotinhas”.

The legal director of ABES, Manoel Antonio dos Santos, highlights the importance of the debate: "We are facing a new reality of flexible work in the world, new ways of organizing business environments in different sectors. The current version of PL 4330/2004 that is under discussion attests that it is possible to regulate outsourcing contracts, without this resulting in a setback in workers' rights or working conditions".

In addition to ABES, representatives of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), the Brazilian Central Service Sector (Cebrasse), the Union of Service Providers, Human Resources and Temporary Work in the State of Minas Gerais (Sinserht -MG), of the National Federation of Private Schools.
