The objective of the Association is to bring together a team of qualified researchers for its Think Tank, an initiative that aims to promote the generation of knowledge based on research and that contribute to the advancement of an agenda of public policies and innovation in Brazil

To contribute to the advancement of a public policy agenda for digital transformation and innovation in Brazil, the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES) launches the second notice of the Fellowship Program of the THINK TANK– Center for Intelligence, Public Policy and Innovation, which began this year with the mission of bringing together a team of qualified researchers. O The program is conducted in partnership with the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo (IEA-USP), and researchers interested in participating can register until July 6th. The result will be announced on the 28th of July, and the start of activities is scheduled for the 1st of August.

The public notice aims to select doctoral students, postdoctoral students and other researchers with a complete doctorate linked to a teaching institution, national or foreign, with the objective of increasing the level of scientific and technological excellence in the areas of interest of the Center. ABES's strategy for its Think Tank foresees the participation of Members in events, interviews, public hearings and meetings with stakeholders, in addition to stimulating dialogue between the various interlocutors involved in the science and innovation agenda, in order to promote positive changes for the Brazilian ecosystem.

“In this way, ABES strengthens its position as a national reference in direct interlocution with various government agencies that work in the formulation of public policies at the municipal, state and, mainly, federal levels; with Academia, Institutes of Science and Technology and civil society – aligned with the quadruple helix model and the development of collaborative networks”, says Jamile.
