The number of threats to the integrity and security of data maintained by companies grows every day, as well as new modalities arise - from the sale of information by a person on the team, through hacker attacks, technical problems in the computer network, vulnerabilities of the sites, among other situations. The implications, which tend to be increasingly severe, include damage to reputation, costs for investigating what happened and data restoration, as well as legal sanctions, which may fall on the entrepreneur and also on IT professionals.
For this reason, ABES has made yet another benefit for its associates: the CyberEdge, a data protection and cyber liability insurance from the insurance company AIG, which will be made available to members through a partnership with the Caixa de Assistência da Empresas de Software e Complementares Serviços do Brasil (CAESBRA). This insurance will be offered under special contract conditions, formatted according to the business profile of each company and wide coverage. The insurance company also offers some free services, such as risk management and vulnerability mapping.

On the occasion, CAESBRA will also address two other benefits already available to ABES members: the Seguro Saúde Bradesco plan and the MetlLife Dental plan, which provide savings in administrative costs and quality service for entrepreneurs and their employees. “Not all associates are aware of the differentials of these benefits and we consider it relevant to reiterate the advantages of being an associate,” adds Carlos Sacco.
