On the 10th of November, ABES will carry out with the FITec Technological innovations, ABPI (Brazilian Intellectual Property Association) and the MPA-AL (Motion Picture Association – Latin America), a breakfast to discuss aspects common to the Internet, Content and Creativity, at the Hotel Cabo Branco Nacional, in João Pessoa, Paraíba.

The event will feature a speech by David Fares, Senior Vice President of Government Relations at 21st Century Fox, the person responsible for coordinating the company's positioning in relation to international media, intellectual property, e-commerce policies and regulatory affairs, together with the US and foreign government and international organizations.

The meeting of the entities was motivated by the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) which will take place from November 10th to 13th, in the same city, João Pessoa, and which facilitates debates on public policy issues related to important elements of Internet governance.

Free of charge, the event promoted by ABES, FITec, ABPI and MPA-AL will have representatives from the segments in which the entities operate. Those interested in participating can register through the link: https://credencial.imasters.com.br/igfsideevent/inscricao.

In its lecture, ABES will address the relevance of original and updated software as a preventive action that helps in the fight against cyber-attacks, considering that, nowadays, the connection of business environments via the Internet leaves organizations more exposed to the risks of information theft. The implementation of an internal information security policy and the use of software that protects against viruses and malvars are other fundamental practices that will be mentioned in the presentation.
