ABES received, for the second consecutive time, the title of “National Reference in Digital Transformation” at the Ozires Silva Prize – Brasil Digital 2022/2023, organized by Instituto Brasil Digital para Todos. The ceremony took place on 04/22, at the World Trade Center (WTC), located in the capital of São Paulo.

With associated companies in all regions of Brazil, ABES strengthens itself as an essential pillar in the Brazilian digital revolution. The association is internationally recognized for its representation in the Information Technology (IT) sector, persisting in its mission of promoting socioeconomic development, innovation, legal and tax security for the benefit of society as a whole. The entity has also stood out for its active participation and dialogue with public agents and parliamentarians.

The recognition of ABES as a “National Reference” reflects the entity's commitment to actively participating in the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil. ABES reiterates its purpose of contributing to a more connected, innovative, ethical and sustainable society”, stated Andriei Gutierrez, Vice-President of ABES, who was present at the ceremony alongside Dr. Manoel Antonio dos Santos, Legal Director; by Clara Savelli, Project Coordinator; and Jorge Sukarie, Advisor.

Rodolfo Fücher and Francisco Camargo, advisors at the Instituto Brasil Digital para Todos, were responsible for presenting the award. The awards ceremony, held in the form of a dinner, was attended by industry leaders, government representatives and science and technology institutes, executives from different economic segments and members of the Armed Forces.
