MicroPower recognizes the entity's performance to
the development of the software sector in Brazil

ABES was honored, on August 8, during the Learning & Performance Brazil Award, organized by MicroPower, for its 30 years of activities, celebrated in 2016. The ceremony took place at the Renaissance São Paulo Hotel and was attended by about 300 professionals among presidents, vice-presidents and other representatives of private and public, national and international organizations.

Presented by Francisco Antonio Soeltl, president and CEO of MicroPower and the Institute for Learning & Performance, to the president of ABES, Francisco Camargo, the award represents the recognition of the work of the association that, since its foundation, on September 9, 1986, has exercised the mission of sectoral representation in the legislative and tax areas, proposing policies aimed at strengthening the value chain of the software and services sector. ABES' work also includes the defense of intellectual property and support for initiatives to encourage innovation and development of national software.

“This honor honors us very much. We complete 30 years with the certainty that we are effectively contributing to the development of the Brazilian software and services market, in the dissemination of knowledge and fostering an intense dialogue between the government, companies and professionals in the sector”, celebrated Camargo.

For 15 years, the Learning & Performance Brazil Award has been aimed at promoting and recognizing the best practices in the market related to Performance Management, Human Capital Management, Talent Development and Accessibility.
