Event will have lectures from BNDES, Finep, Kick Ventures and BR Startups
In partnership with ABGI, on August 8th, in São Paulo, ABES will launch the Guide to Fostering Innovation 2019. The meeting will feature lectures by representatives of BNDES, FINEP, Kick Ventures and BR Startups, who will present financing opportunities for the software sector. The event is free, spaces are limited. It will take place at Avenida das Nações Unidas, 12.495 – 17th floor (Multi Purpose Room), in the Brooklyn neighborhood, starting at 2 pm.
“ABES believes that adequate lines of financing and promotion are vital for the development of the Brazilian software technology sector. The event will make it possible to understand the most diverse lines of financing and promotion existing in Brazil in order to facilitate their access”, highlights Rodolfo Fücher, president of the entity.
During the event there will be a presentation of the new BNDES Direct 10 line, with financing from R$ 1 million to R$ 10 million, for investments in the Information Technology and Telecommunications sectors.
Finep will also present the Finep Software line, a program to support the acquisition of software and implementation services, which has R$ 500 million available over the next three years for the acquisition and implementation of systems. The objective is to encourage greater use of information and communication technologies by national companies in all economic sectors.
ABGI, which is an ABES partner in the production of the 2019 Foment Guide, will talk about the applicability of the Lei do Bem, bringing some practical cases in the software sector and also some opportunities focused on small businesses.
The investment funds Kick Ventures and BR Startups will demonstrate how the private sector has been fostering companies, in addition to detailing how they operate.
“The event is an opportunity to get to know and discuss ways of promoting development in the public and private sectors”, completes Fücher.
