Assembly for renewal of a third of the Deliberative Council will be on the 29th

The general meeting for the renewal of one third of the members of the ABES Deliberative Council will be held on November 29th, starting at 9:00 am, at the association's headquarters in São Paulo. Member companies may exercise their voting rights through three voting methods: face-to-face, remote via internet and remote via correspondence. By choosing one of the remote modalities, members are waiving the secrecy surrounding their vote.

In-person voting – Once the Ordinary General Assembly is installed, the president will distribute a ballot containing the names of the registered candidates. The representative of the associated company may nominate a maximum of 10 names for the Deliberative Council. Ballots with a higher number of votes will be considered void. At the end of the voting period, at 17:00 hours, the calculation will be made and the result of this portion of votes will be announced. Only the titular representative or, in his absence, the alternate representative of the company may exercise the vote. Control will be done by signing the attendance list and presenting an identity document.

Internet remote voting – On November 29, 2013, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the ballot for voting will also be made available at the address 2013 elections, which can only be accessed by a principal or alternate representative and by entering the member's password (the same used to access the restricted areas of the ABES Portal). The principal representative of the associated company (or its alternate) must fill in the requested information in the appropriate fields, indicating a maximum of 10 names for members of the Deliberative Council, among the registered candidates on the ballot. Filed in a secure directory, specially designed for this purpose, the ballots will be accessed for verification by the chosen committee, which will take place as soon as the counting of votes in the face-to-face modality is completed.

Remote voting by mail – Since the 22nd of November, the company's main or alternate representative with ABES also has the option to print the ballot available on the page 2013 elections. After indicating a maximum of 10 names for the members of the Deliberative Council, the representative must fill in the requested data and sign the ballot. The completed ballot must be placed in a sealed envelope to be posted or sent by another means of delivery, on a date that guarantees its arrival at ABES headquarters by 5:00 pm on November 29, 2013. Envelopes received after this date will be counted as null votes. The envelopes will be opened by the chosen commission, for counting, which will take place as soon as the counting of the voting in the remote modality by internet is finished.

The voting modes "Remote via Internet" and "Remote via Mail" are optional. By choosing them, the associate is renouncing the secrecy that surrounds his vote.
