From November 5th to 8th, the Mackenzie Law School in Brasília will host the free extension course Digital Transformation and Law, coordinated by Professor Rodolfo Tamanaha, on the university campus in the federal capital. ABES supports the initiative, whose main objective is to promote reflection on how the right operator can respond creatively and appropriately to the opportunities provided by technology in the digital age.

The course, which will have a workload of 16 hours, will take place through lectures and round tables and will be divided into four thematic axes. Fabio Rua, director of Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs at IBM Latin America and member of the Deliberative Council of ABES, will be one of the speakers on the theme “Artificial Intelligence and protection of personal data”.

The other axes of the course are: “Digital transformation and its impacts on the economy and law”, “Blockchain and Fintechs: regulatory aspects” and “Innovation ecosystem: startups, accelerators and venture capital”.
