Scheduled for November 23-25, for the first time in 30 editions, the Anprotec Conference will happen 100% online. The event has institutional support from ABES. Although it is a novelty for the Association, virtual meetings are part of the new normal of 2020. The pandemic has brought profound changes in society, drastically altering the way people work, study, interact, consume and occupy spaces. In this context, innovation environments - technology parks, incubators, accelerators and innovation hubs - have been forced to evaluate their business model, their spaces and their delivery of value to startups and nascent companies. Contributing to these reflections is the objective of the Anprotec 2020 Conference, held by Anprotec and Sebrae.
For some years now, terms like internet of things, big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing and digital transformation have been part of the discussion cycles on competitiveness and innovation. However, the application of these technologies has never occurred as rapidly as in 2020. “We are experiencing a digital apocalypse. It was 25 years in a few weeks. People started using the technologies and services that were already there on an unthinkable scale. The Brazilian internet network had a 30% increase in traffic as of March 15, ”said Sílvio Meira, chairman of the Board of Directors of Porto Digital and member of the Advisory Board of Anprotec, during the series of online events AnproTalks, created by Anprotec.
The three-day event
The first day of the Anprotec Conference, 23, will be dedicated to the workshop “Qualification and Reinvention of Innovation Environments”, which will focus on offering participants a practical approach, which will help innovation environments to rethink their performance models and how deliver value to the companies they house, so that they can attract high potential projects and human resources, given the current challenges imposed by new conditions and technologies. The activities will aim to help the participant to understand the dynamics and actions that generate competitiveness to new businesses, deepening innovative practices in the relationship with the market and the client, in the financial logic, in their demands for technologies and differentiation, as well as exploring new ones. practices such as corporate venture, internationalization and businesses with social and environmental impact.
The next two days, 24 and 25, will be dedicated to the discussion of the central theme “Innovation Environments 4.0: Challenges and Opportunities in the New Global Dynamics”, with the participation of more than 60 speakers - Brazilian and international - representatives of innovation environments, government, development agencies, large corporations, startups and investors, discussing the five sub-themes that will be pillars of the event:
Human capital: The role and challenges of 4.0 innovation environments;
Open Innovation: Innovation ecosystem as instruments for transforming traditional industries;
Financing: New sustainability models for innovation environments;
Cities: Innovation ecosystems as levers for sustainable human development;
Technology: The role of innovation environments for generating solutions in the new global dynamic.
The virtual meeting will also host the Sebrae Innovation Forum, the IASP Latam Assembly and the presentation of technical works by Anprotec members.
