User experience will be the focus of the event between the 23rd and 25th of May

Considered the most important technology exhibition and congress for means of payment, cards, e-commerce, certification and digital identification, Cards Payment & Identification 2017, which takes place between May 23 and 25, at Transamerica Expo, in São Paulo , is yet another event that has the institutional support of ABES.

The 22nd edition of the event will have a special focus on the user experience. The exhibitors and speakers at the Congress will show how new technologies can add value to customer relationships, which are increasingly connected and demanding.

fintechs

Both the fair and the congress will have the participation of fintechs, who will have the opportunity to speak and demonstrate disruptive technologies that meet the digital consumer. The potential of this market was addressed in a new FintechLab report, which monitored 247 initiatives, distributed across the categories Payments (32%), Financial Management (18%), Loans (13%), Investments (8%), Funding (7%), Insurance (6%) , Debt Trading (5%), Cryptocurrencies and DLTs (5%), Foreign Exchange (4%) and Multiservices (2%). The survey, which had the participation of 177 respondents, shows that the initiatives have already received, in an accumulated way in recent years, more than R$ 1 billion in investments.

Mobile Bank

The use of mobile banking, according to the latest study by Deloitte the study, practically doubled in 2016, from 11.2 billion transactions to 21.9 billion. This is the first time that banks have found that mobile accesses exceed the number of accesses via Internet banking. The influence of this type of finding on the behavior of users of the banking system will be on the agenda of the event.

“The population of Brazil exceeds 206 million inhabitants, with mobile lines in operation reaching almost 243 million. Therefore, we have more than one mobile device per inhabitant, and a transformation is underway regarding the user experience; this will be our focus at CARDS”, says Luis Veiga, director of the event. In this context, Veiga includes the record that today there are 42 million bank accounts operating in mobile banking. “The technology infrastructure of financial institutions is organized for a growth in geometric proportions of mobile operations”.
