Kyvo, Bossa Nova Investimentos and Startup Farm are the new members of the ABES Startup Internship Program, and their startups will receive support in the legal, regulatory, tax and marketing areas

São Paulo, May 28, 2020 - ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies, with the objective of contributing to the institutions that develop and accelerate innovative companies in Brazil, created the ABES Startup Internship Program. The program aims to strengthen startups, generate synergy between investment funds, incubators and accelerators and contribute so that businesses can overcome the difficulties present in the market, making available to ABES more than 33 years of experience in the legal, regulatory, tax areas and marketing. The initiative makes available to entities all services offered by entities to their associates, such as legal-tax duty, certificates, advisors, guides, complete compliance infrastructure, LGPD diagnosis, health and dental plan, market research, and relevant committees sector themes.

According to Jamile Sabatini Marques, Director of Innovation and Promotion at ABES, the initiative should include around 300 startups in the first six months of operation: "The partnership with incubators, accelerators and investment funds allows a union of efforts where everyone wins. ABES is open to contribute to existing programs, validating the process of its partnerships.
Rodolfo Fücher, President of ABES, adds: "We want to encourage entrepreneurship in Brazil and facilitate access to information and structure, through a network of essential services for the success of startups. The program helps these enterprises overcome the difficulties present in the market, making renowned market specialists available. If we consider that one of our pillars is to contribute to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, strengthening startups is one of the ways to achieve our goals ", he adds.

Recently, some institutions joined the program and will have full support from the association. Kyvo - an innovation consultancy that also develops corporate open innovation programs with ventures - is the first partner of the ABES Startup Internship Program in 2020. "We believe that the exchange of knowledge is the main engine for any operation. To expand a business, it is it is essential to master not only the area itself, but also to count on the help of those who have been in the market for longer and can add differentiated views of the business ", explains Hilton Menezes, CEO of Kyvo.

ABES also had the support of Bossa Nova Investimentos, a company of great recognition in Micro Venture Capital in Latin America. "This initiative brings entrepreneurs to several topics, among them compliance, intellectual property, LGPD, business meeting between associates and startups, stimulating business between them and several other benefits", comments the CEO, Rodolfo Santos.

Another accelerator that joined the program is StartupFarm, according to the executive director, Alan Leite, this initiative is very important to strengthen the ventures in Brazil. "There are many innovative and incredible companies in the country, but they often need guidance. They have several important points, such as creativity, the willingness to take and take risks. And others (point) that need more cutting, such as the low technological innovation and business model and the lack of global ambition ", he says.
