The federal government today presented (22/08), in an official form, the single federal portal, GOV.BR, which should house all the sites of federal public agencies by the end of 2020. Among the novelties of the new platform are the offer of 315 public services completely digitized, such as retirement requests, maternity salary, digital traffic card, among others. Named "D-Day of Digital Transformation", the ceremony, held at the Planalto Palace, was attended by the President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, the Vice President, Hamilton Mourão, in addition to ministers to parliamentarians. Anselmo Gentile, Executive Director of ABES , represented the entity at this event.

"Brazil is the fourth country in connection to the internet, there are more than 140 million people using the internet. About 1.6 thousand government portals are being transferred to a single portal, all of which are being placed on the GOV.BR portal", highlighted the minister of the Government Secretariat, Luiz Eduardo Ramos.

"It is a platform that will gather products and information from government services, all in a single click, and, in an easy, transparent, intuitive way, the population will have direct access to services," stated the Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Jorge Oliveira.

On the web and on mobile

The unification of channels will also encompass mobile applications, according to the government. In June this year, the unique gov.br account was created at the Google Play store, which already has 41 migrated applications, including the National Public Safety Information System (Sinesp Cidadão) and the National High School Exam (Enem) . Among the digitized services, those of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) stand out, such as the retirement simulator and even the requisition of the benefit. According to the Mayor, Renato Vieira, 90 of the 96 services made available to the citizen by the agency have already been digitized.

"All services that do not require physical presence have been transformed into digital ones. In other words, the citizen has more comfort and convenience, he does not need to go to the INSS agency, although it is still there. The proof that the citizen has embraced and understood the INSS Digital is that now, in August, 80% of all the requests made to the INSS have already been made digitally, by phone, internet and cell phone application, only 20% of the insured who made any request to the INSS in August chose to go to an agency ", said Vieira.

The government's expectation is that, after the migration of all federal government sites to the single portal, around 1,000 federal public services will be available on the internet.
