Training of Softex, MCTI and Apex-Brasil will select 45 companies
 

 

In order to boost the development and implementation of the innovation strategy in the companies that make up the Brazilian IT software and services industry (IBSS), not only in startups but also in small, medium and large companies, the Association for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software (Softex), in partnership with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), announces the launch of the Impact IT - Business Training Program for o Development of the Innovation Strategy.
 
The objective of the program, with a duration of 80 hours of training and 30 hours of business guidance, is to train, by December, 45 companies – 15 in São Paulo, 15 in Curitiba and 15 in Recife – to develop their innovation strategies. . Divided into five modules, the syllabus will address, among other topics, the challenges and reality of collaborative culture within organizations; mapping of opportunities, market and trends; shared value; open innovation and innovation strategy; as well as a methodology for developing the strategy.
 
After the training, there will be a presentation to choose the innovation strategy of the participants and nine companies will be selected for the international stage that includes: business orientation; visits to companies and institutions in San Francisco and Silicon Valley; and invitations to attend the Gartner Symposium/ITXpo 2014, considered the largest and most important annual meeting of chief information officers (CIOs) and leaders of the IT industry in the United States.
 
Upon returning to Brazil, the nine companies will receive another 30 hours of business guidance (24 national and 6 international) to refine the strategy developed and prepare for its implementation.
 
Companies interested in participating in the TI de Impacto program have until June 8 to register at the address www.softex.br/cadastro-ti-de-impacto. The list of the 45 selected will be announced on June 16.

After all, the development of innovative environments generates economic and social value, improves the competitive positioning of companies and contributes to the creation of better quality jobs, in addition to increasing productive efficiency and sustained growth in the country”, explains Ruben Delgado, president of Softex.
 
The initiative counts on the technical partnership of Impact Hub and with the support of the Institute of Software Technology (ITS), from the International Center for Software Technology (CITS) and Softex Recife.
