New leadership strengthens the distributor's presence in the region and drives relationship and channel training strategies

Adistec, a value-added distributor with a presence throughout Latin America, announces the arrival of André Cavalcanti as its new Channel Manager for the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. With over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, 12 of which dedicated to channel management, the executive takes on the challenge of expanding the company's presence in these two regions, strengthening relationships with partners and developing strategies for training, portfolio expansion, and competitive differentiation.

Based in Recife, Pernambuco, André will lead initiatives focused on approximately 25 active channels, in addition to driving initiatives to attract new partners and enhance the maturity of existing channels. One focus will be the strategic alignment of resellers with the main solutions in Adistec's portfolio.

"The North and Northeast regions have enormous potential for growth and development in infrastructure, data centers, and cybersecurity. Our role is to foster this ecosystem with a local presence, close ties to partners, and strategies that combine training, relationships, and consultancy," says André. "We want to go beyond distributing solutions; we want to build channels that are knowledge providers, prepared to operate with technical efficiency, commercial speed, and strategic vision," he adds.

Regional planning prioritizes active listening, in-person visits, roadshows, participation in local events, and close relationships, recognizing the importance of being physically present to build sustainable partnerships in markets with such diverse realities. "It's about understanding each partner's pain points, challenges, and objectives, and responding with structure, agility, and robust technical and commercial support," the executive notes.

Having worked at companies like Dell, where he worked for a decade as a channel manager focusing on server and storage solutions, André also brings experience in product management and strategy design focused on accelerating business through specialized channels. According to him, one of Adistec's greatest strengths is its ability to combine high-quality technical support with a regional presence and a focus on ongoing partner training. "Teaching people how to fish, rather than delivering finished fish, is what allows us to scale with quality and sustainability," he emphasizes.

The appointment comes at a time of growth for Adistec in Brazil, with the expansion of the local team and the strengthening of the channel support structure in all regions. "The presence of an executive dedicated to the North and Northeast symbolizes our commitment to regionalizing operations and developing a strong, capable ecosystem that is connected to market trends," says José Roberto Rodrigues, Country Manager & Alliances at Adistec Brazil. "We believe that sustainable growth comes from proximity to channels and the ability to deliver real value, whether in solutions, knowledge, or agility."

The company emphasizes that it will continue investing in initiatives that bring manufacturers and channels closer together, with the aim of boosting local businesses, qualifying the regional market, and expanding its operations in segments such as infrastructure, networks, information security, and cloud computing.
