On July 28th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Institute of Advanced Studies (IEA/USP) will host an unmissable event on the impacts of Artificial Intelligence on the Brazilian business environment. Promoted by ABES, the hybrid meeting "What the latest research says about AI in Brazilian companies” will bring together experts to present relevant data and promote strategic discussions.

The panel will feature:

  • Dr. Leonardo de Melo Lins, PhD in Sociology from USP and researcher at the ABES Think Tank, what will present results from the 16th ICT Companies Survey and a special chapter on São Paulo from the OECD/G7 study, revealing the panorama of digital maturity and the adoption of AI, with emphasis on the industrial and Information and Communication Technology sectors.
  • Dr. Cristina Godoy, professor at the Faculty of Law of Ribeirão Preto (USP) and post-doctorate at Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, who will present comparisons between Brazil and other economies.

Mediation will be done by Dr. Eduardo Paranhos, lawyer, leader of the ABES Artificial Intelligence Working Group and founding partner of the Ouro Preto Paranhos Advogados law firm.
