Keynote speakers Paulo Sergio Rufino Henrique and Jean-Pierre Bienaimé offer predictions about the influence of new technologies on people's behavior and business routines.

Connectivity and the speed of information, combined with the volume of data transmitted today, are undeniably transformative behaviors. But what will it be like 30 years from now? This is one of the most provocative questions of the 30th edition of futurecom, the largest connectivity, technology and innovation platform in Latin America.

Among all the experts who will occupy the stages of the Future Congress, the keynote speakers stand out Paulo Sergio Rufino Henrique and Jean-Pierre Bienaimé, responsible for the forecasts on their panels. Brazilian Paulo Sergio Rufino Henrique is a scientist-member of the CTIF Global Capsule Foundation in France and chairman of the international 6G Briefing conference. Jean-Pierre Bienaimé has a significant track record in the telecommunications sector, including former Secretary General of the 5G Infrastructure Association (5G-IA) at the European Commission, former President of IREST (Institute for Economic and Social Research in Telecommunications), former Vice President of Orange, and former President of the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) Forum.

The two experts will participate in the panel “Connectivity in 2055: communication and connection in 30 years", alongside Paulo Fernando Silvestre, a consultant in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design. The panel will be moderated by Wilson Cardoso, a technology consultant and member of Senai, in Plenary 1, on October 2nd, at 11:15 am.

Due to his relevance on the international stage, Paulo Sergio Rufino Henrique will also be the speaker on the topic “Futurecom Quantum Technologies: Celebrating 100 Years of Quantum Mechanics", in Plenary Session 2, on the same day, October 2nd, at 10:00 am. The scientist has consolidated his career in advanced telecommunications and leads research in Quantum Technologies and 6G Networks directly from Paris. He is also a PhD candidate in 6G and has worked for giants such as British Telecom, Vodafone, and Spideo.

What's next
Although it sounds like science fiction, by 2055, anyone who isn't connected risks being excluded not only digitally but also from society. This prediction is based on technologies such as quantum cloud computing, symbiotic neural networks, tactile holography, communication biochips, and sensory connectivity. In other words, a fusion of sensations between the physical, digital, and biological. Mental overload, however, will be one of the concerns to be observed, as will global ethical governance, mass digital inclusion, and rigorous attention to privacy and autonomy. It's worth checking out.
