With a duration of between 7 and 12 months, the course is 100% online and offers more than 700 hours of content experience
Oracle, a leading developer of software, databases and cloud solutions, announces the new edition of Oracle Next Education (ONE), its free and innovative technology training program focused on artificial intelligence. Recognized as one of the leading educational initiatives in Latin America, ONE offers updated content and specialized training paths, with the goal of training 40,000 professionals in the region. The initiative reinforces Oracle’s commitment to employability, social inclusion and talent development to meet the growing demand for technology specialists.
In this edition, ONE offers new tracks in Data Science and Back-End, in addition to preparation for certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), aligning the content with the growing demands of the global market. With a duration of between 7 and 12 months and more than 700 hours of learning, the program is 100% online, allowing participants to combine studies with other activities.
The result of a partnership between Oracle, Alura and FIAP (Faculdade de Informática e Administração Paulista), ONE is part of the largest technology education ecosystem in Latin America. In its five years of existence, it has already attracted more than 511,000 applicants from 14 countries in the region. Of these, more than 107,000 have completed their training and 16,000 have found employment, generating an estimated impact of US$136 million in salaries per year.
“ONE’s evolution shows how we are aligned with the transformations in the technology sector, offering a learning journey that truly prepares our students for the challenges of the present and the future,” highlights Amanda Gelumbauskas, responsible for the program in Latin America. “By focusing on strategic areas such as Data Science, Back-End and Cloud, and by incorporating artificial intelligence and cutting-edge certifications, we expand the potential for innovation and global insertion of our talents.”
Two-stage educational model
The program is structured in two phases. The first, ONE Tech Foundation, lasts seven months and offers an introduction to programming, prompt engineering concepts and two specialization tracks to choose from: Data Science with Python and AI, or Back-End with Spring.
Next, students can move on to the ONE Tech Advanced, a three-month stage focusing on more advanced technologies, such as MySQL databases, generative AI applications, and cloud infrastructure. This phase also prepares students for the OCI Foundation certification.
Both phases include the practical application of generative AI and work on essential interpersonal skills such as leadership, entrepreneurship and professional agility — skills valued in the technology sector.
“Oracle’s increasingly strong presence in the multicloud environment, in partnership with industry leaders, makes OCI expertise a strategic differentiator for ONE participants. By offering training and certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, we prepare our students to meet the demands of a market that increasingly demands qualified professionals in cloud solutions,” adds Amanda.
Continuous support throughout the journey
ONE participants have the support of an active community on Discord, which serves as a space for exchange with colleagues and instructors, as well as access to exclusive content and workshops. Luri, Alura's AI, is another important ally, acting as a personal assistant and helping students to resolve doubts and deepen their learning in a personalized and intuitive way.
“ONE’s strength lies in the depth of its tracks, personalized teaching, and engagement with our community. Hands-on projects and strong connections with the market provide students with the confidence and experience they need to excel,” says Christian Velasco, Alura Latam leader.
Direct connection with the job market
More than just technical training, ONE focuses on employability. Students who stand out and complete the Tech Advanced phase can join the AlumniONE community, aimed at former students. There, they have access to EmpregaONE, a platform with job opportunities, contact networks and support for career development.
Another benefit is participation in CareerUP, a two-month FIAP program that focuses on interpersonal skills, personal marketing, diversity and inclusion — all aligned with ESG principles.
Registration for Oracle Next Education is now open and interested parties can check out all the details at official website of the program.
