– In order to endorse the pioneering spirit in offering a consistent digital evolution journey to the market, Eronides Junior assumes the position of Chief Revenue Officer, marking a new phase for the company in Brazil, focusing on solutions to support the gap in the companies’ business areas.
SoftwareOne's strategy is to position itself as a strategic partner for companies
In a strategic move that consolidates its evolution as a digital business partner, SoftwareOne SoftwareOne, Inc. has just announced the appointment of Eronides Junior as the new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in Brazil. The executive’s arrival in the position marks the beginning of a new phase for the company in the country, with the creation of a robust portfolio of digital products that aims to respond to the growing demands of business areas for productivity, innovation and technological governance. With the restructuring, SoftwareOne estimates that, in the first year, digital products will represent 25% of service sales, which currently account for 75% of the company’s entire operations in Brazil.
According to the Country Manager of SoftwareOne Brazil, Otavio Argenton, the company has been structuring its product portfolio based on careful observation of the leading role of business areas in the use of technology, in view of the advent of Artificial intelligence.
“This observation showed us that we are facing a new customer profile, much more connected to business challenges than to technology itself. In this way, we began to position ourselves as a consultancy capable of understanding the real problems faced by companies, in order to then propose customized digital solutions aligned with business growth and development strategies,” says the executive.
SoftwareOne's transformation: from IT to core business
The announcement is not an isolated move, but part of a journey that began more than two years ago. The company, which began its operations in Brazil with licensing resale, went through the implementation and subsequent management of technology, and is now repositioning itself to support the needs of business areas, consolidating its genuine concern in being the greatest strategic partner of companies in their digital evolution process.
The shift is driven by trends such as Generative Artificial Intelligence, the adoption of Data Driven models and the search for efficiency and scalability. According to the recent survey “Cabeça do Dono”, conducted by Instituto Locomotiva for Itaú Empresas, 60% of the leaders of small and medium-sized companies intend to expand their businesses in 2025. However, 18% still face challenges in financial management and 20% suffer from a lack of innovation.
“This market segment endorses a major gap in companies’ business areas today: the need for innovation. Therefore, SoftwareOne’s consultancy comes at a strategic moment, to ensure that these companies do not do so just to remain competitive in the market, but with a robust infrastructure that supports their operations in the long term,” Argenton emphasizes.
The executive explains that, based on a careful analysis carried out closely by the directors of strategic areas of the companies, it is possible to propose cost reductions, performance improvements, increased productivity, strategic modernizations of legacy systems, and even improvements in data governance. “All of this is based on the portfolio of digital products structured by SoftwareOne,” he says.
Digital portfolio aligned with market objectives
SoftwareOne's new product line, which was designed to directly impact companies' operations, already has a solid base of solutions, capable of addressing the market's main pain points in a customized, scalable and results-oriented way.
Generative AI Services, for example, are customized solutions delivered according to the client's needs. Capable of connecting messaging services to natural language, LLM, they allow bots to interact with users spontaneously, thanks to the ability to query a structured database.
“One example is the HR chat, already implemented by SoftwareOne itself, which aims to offer 24/7 real-time support to employees, answering routine questions so that the HR team can focus on more strategic activities. The same logic applies to all areas of the company, such as purchasing, IT operations, Service Desk, among others,” explains Argenton.
Security as a driver of productivity
A productivity-focused security solution, Security Productivity was developed to test the security capabilities of an environment, providing recommendations for mitigation and continuous improvement. Through an assessment, the software evaluates critical security pillars: device management, compliance risk, identity protection and data security.
The Data Security Assessment was developed for data management. The solution identifies and mitigates security and compliance risks, such as data leaks, exposed information and unauthorized access. “Unlike the previous solution, which focused on the entire environment, this one is data-centric. Thanks to in-depth analysis, we are able to support organizations in their Data Driven strategy, in which information is the center of decision-making,” explains Argenton.
Governance as a priority
Continuous and personalized consulting with SoftwareOne's own methodology, Managed Cloud Advisor (MCA) analyzes the scalability, cost efficiency and availability of companies' cloud. This makes it possible to identify improvements and make technical recommendations that support all stages of the project, becoming a recurring task.
“The checklist routinely carried out by this managed services consultancy ensures not only the security of the environment and performance adjustments, based on technological updates in the market, but also a strategic use of its resources, so that the client only pays for what they are consuming, which meets the need for cost reduction observed in the market”, reinforces the executive.
Support for technological evolution
For customers looking for an assertive data migration, DB Freedom is the solution that values savings, security, and efficiency. The goal is to evaluate the entire environment to develop a robust cloud migration plan.
Not least, concerned about the end of SAP ECC support scheduled for December 2027, SoftwareOne also launches RISE with SAP, AI-powered solution that enables and accelerates migration to S/4HANA RISE, simplifying the adoption process and ensuring that investment is distributed intelligently over time, preserving the financial health of the business.
“More than just a technological update, this journey is strategic. In addition to meeting the critical deadline for SAP ECC support, it prepares organizations to ensure compliance and competitiveness in the long term,” he ponders.
SoftwareOne Marketplace
Still in the structuring phase, the company has also invested in offering the SoftwareOne Marketplace, where customers can make purchases, open calls, check and gain insights into their consumption, access their invoices, among other services, in a practical, fast and single-source manner. “This is a project that still has a lot of potential to be explored and aims to offer complete support to customers who are on their digital evolution journey with us,” he emphasizes.
Argenton assures that the company's promising plans for this year are in line with a market that is constantly changing and that demands experienced partners who are committed to results. “More than just providing technological advice, the time has come to support executives in their expansion plans so that together we can follow a path of safe and scalable innovation,” reinforces the executive.
New leadership, new horizons
With extensive experience at SoftwareOne, Eronides Junior will no longer work in support of the marketing, services and operations areas, but will instead focus on the positioning, sales and development strategy of digital products. Junior will also take on the role of CRO with the mission of strengthening customer relationships, positioning the company as a partner for continuous innovation.
“Our goal is to be more than an IT partner. We want to work with executives to build solid growth strategies based on cutting-edge technology, governance and data intelligence,” says the new CRO.
