From tracking company to insurance company, insurtech transformed its business by leveraging the scalability of SAP management solutions

Loovi, an auto insurance company, adopted Ramo's SAP Business One to centralize its operations and meet the technical and compliance requirements necessary to expand its activities, obtain regulation from the federal agency and, in the future, go public.

After years of operating in the tracking segment, Loovi identified the need to offer a more comprehensive solution to its customers, including protection against theft and robbery. In 2023, already consolidated as an insurance company, the company received a financial contribution of R$45 million, establishing itself as a company with credibility equivalent to that of the major players in the market.

With the expansion of its operations, Loovi needed to optimize its operational processes. The choice of SAP Business One was strategic, considering the robustness and customization capacity of the solution, which perfectly met the demands of the insurtech. The implementation resulted in a series of benefits that transformed Loovi's operations.

“SAP Business One has automated critical processes, from creating customer contracts to issuing SUSEP-regulated policies, significantly reducing the time and effort required to perform these tasks,” explains Glauco Serpa, IT Director at Loovi.

The results of Loovi’s digital transformation were immediate. “In just one month after go-live, we quadrupled our customer base. The entire technological framework allowed us to offer a complete and innovative solution, demonstrating the scalability that SAP Business One provides us,” says Serpa.

SAP Business One combines auto insurance management into a single package, offering automated processes that ensure operational efficiency and personalized service. The solution also has the capacity to scale and serve a growing number of customers, while strictly complying with legal and information security standards.

“Supporting companies from different segments is essential for Ramo, as we believe that SAP Business One has the potential to leverage business growth in various industries,” said Décio Krakauer, CEO of Ramo. “The solution offers the flexibility and robustness needed for companies like Loovi to grow sustainably and innovatively, with efficient and integrated processes.”

The Ramo Belo Horizonte team played an essential role in the success of the project, providing all the necessary support for the implementation and expansion of the solution.
