With the partnership, the distributor maintains the offer of VMware products and begins to train local channel partners following current strategies

Ingram Micro Brasil has signed a new distribution agreement with Broadcom for VMware solutions covering Brazil in Latin America. With this, Ingram Micro continues to serve the channel in countries where it was already a VMware distributor before the company's acquisition by Broadcom, including in Brazil.

Ingram Micro Brasil and its network of partners are tasked with helping Broadcom drive the adoption of VMware private cloud infrastructure and helping transition VMware's broad customer base to the new subscription licensing model for VMware software. Ingram Micro Brasil will empower its local channel partners with its experience and expertise on VMware's new market strategy and help ensure that customers receive maximum value for their investment in VMware software.

Under the agreement, Ingram Micro will continue to provide Broadcom's portfolio of VMware solutions, in all modalities and formats sold by Broadcom, with an emphasis on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF).

Ingram Micro will continue to play its role in enabling local resellers to enhance the customer business experience through accessibility, expertise and personalized assistance. Support will continue to be provided to customers through Broadcom support portal.

By partnering with Ingram Micro Brasil, reseller partners gain access to Ingram Micro Brasil's technical expertise, training programs and certified resources. This allows partners to offer high-quality support services throughout the business customer lifecycle. Together, Broadcom and Ingram Micro Brasil will continue to offer an integrated support experience to ensure the highest levels of service for customers of all sizes.

“Along with its extensive experience in VMware, Ingram Micro Brasil’s expertise and influence in the Brazilian market will play a crucial role in helping Broadcom with our market strategy in the region,” says Cynthia Loyd, Vice President of Global Partner and Commercial Broadcom Sales.

“Ingram Micro Brasil’s technical support services, together with its local expertise, are part of a cohesive strategy to create value for our partners and customers. As a trusted advisor to the channel, Ingram Micro Brasil brings all the right capabilities to support the evolution of our market strategy,” says Roberto Gero, product director at Ingram Micro’s Advanced Solutions unit.
