Athena is a secure platform that will meet the unique needs of the most varied industries

According to a recent study by McKinsey, the Organization of the future will be enabled by people-powered generative AI. Additionally, generative AI technology will transform the way companies operate. The economic potential indicated by the report is 24.6 trillion dollars, arising from increased productivity. Companies that do not follow this path will suffer the impacts of losing competitiveness, making uninformed decisions and having less productivity.

To serve its customers at a crucial moment for the future of organizations, TIVIT, a Brazilian multinational that accelerates business through technology, announces the launch of Athena, a Generative AI solution, which works as a digital facilitator. Athena is secure software that allows the company to define exactly the data sources it can access, whether internal or external systems, coming, for example, from a CRM, ERP or public databases, such as technical standards and legislation , which can be essential for certain sectors.

“Athena’s development reflects TIVIT’s own advancement in the technology sector. It complements our portfolio of digital solutions and services”, says Daniel Galante, COO and CPO of the organization. Athena's proposal is to revolutionize business, freeing up people's time from repetitive tasks, leading them to more strategic activities. In addition, Athena will expand its data analysis capacity, helping to speed up business decisions in a predictive and constant manner.

Athena uses advanced models from Azure Open AI – from Microsoft – and will initially work on a pay-per-consumption model, which, in the near future, can be purchased autonomously, over the internet.

As a platform capable of analyzing large amounts of data, revealing hidden or distant patterns and providing insights for strategic decision-making, TIVIT also focused on Athena's security. Its features protect data, and interactions are only used to train private models. “With the advancement of AI initiatives in the market, we started to think about how to use Generative AI to accelerate our clients’ development processes, safely, ensuring trust in the technology”, reinforces Galante.

Even though it is easily customizable, Athena has versions already configured for different industries, such as: Athena for Legal; Athena for Health; Athena for Sales; Athena for Operations; Athena for People and Talent; Athena for Manufacturing. The Athena for Health version, for the health sector, is already loaded with specific databases, such as those from the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) or the Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa); Athena for Legal, on the other hand, will have the country's Constitution and legislation in force.

Currently, 16 companies from different sectors have been testing the application. Among them, one of the largest cancer treatment centers in Latin America, the largest health cooperative system in the world and a Brazilian analysis and information platform for credit decisions.

Acceleration in practice

Athena can also operate as a ready-made suite, with its databases already configured, to meet the specific needs of each industry. In addition to the benefits and possibilities it provides to companies, one of the highlights is its ability to accelerate other Artificial Intelligence initiatives, becoming a driver for organizations that are already involved in similar projects.

In a context of acceleration, TIVIT offers support to the customer in two crucial actions for their transformation: it helps the company in building initiatives based on Athena and, at the same time, it helps in the more efficient organization of data to feed the platform. Explaining this role, Galante highlights: “We act as a type of consultancy focused on data, offering a complementary offer to Athena. This represents extra help for the client looking to advance at an extremely competitive time.”
