Preparing professionals to work on technological market trends in any company, the multinational offers 10 thousand scholarships in partnership with DIO

DIO, an open technology education platform, and NTT DATA, one of the largest technology and business consultancies in the world, are launching a Kotlin language training bootcamp in Back-end for beginners and technology professionals. 10 thousand scholarships will be awarded – completely free of charge.

Coding The Future NTTDATA – Back-end Development with Kotlin, explores the principles of the Kotlin programming language in 52 hours of content, presenting the main concepts through classes with experts in the field, as well as practical projects, code challenges and mentoring exclusive on the use of Artificial Intelligence applied in software development.
The bootcamp is aimed at aspirants who want to start their career with an easy and practical language and for professionals who have knowledge of Java and seek to evolve their skills to a less verbose language to increase their productivity. The journey also includes creating an API using Spring, a complete challenge to highlight any portfolio.
For NTTDATA, the bootcamp meets a need in the global market by preparing developers to start their careers trained in a technology that is trending in the Back-end.
“We work together to develop specialized professionals in a market lacking labor such as technology in Brazil and around the world”, says Ricardo Neves, CEO of NTT DATA. “This time, we will grant another 10 thousand scholarships for training in Kotlin in Back-end, giving thousands of people the opportunity to enter a new career.”

DIO reinforces that the partnership with NTTDATA guarantees excellent opportunities for training and training talent in technology.

The partnership between NTT DATA and DIO began in 2020. Since the beginning, around 90,000 scholarships have been awarded in various technology-related topics, such as introduction to HTML in Practice, Fundamentals of CSS, Introduction to Web Development with JavaScript, TypeScript for Angular and Immersion in the AWS Cloud Data Ecosystem. Last year, a bootcamp was held for women, black people, LGBTI+, people over 50, indigenous people and people with disabilities. Almost 6,000 free scholarships were awarded to participants. At the time, 5767 people signed up to receive the scholarships: 2119 women, 2010 black people, 1072 LGBTI+, 168 over 50 years old, 136 PwD's, 44 indigenous people, 41 refugees. In addition to them, 712 people preferred not to identify with any group.
