Grupo Mateus, the largest food retailer in the North and Northeast and the third largest in Brazil, invested in high technology for one of its new stores opened this Thursday (20th) in Paraíba – and which are now part of the list of around 240 units spread across more than 100 cities in both regions.
In the new store located in João Pessoa (PB), the chain implemented electronic shelf labels. These wireless digital devices installed on the shelves, also called ESL (electronic shelf label), display price information for customers and managerial data for the store team, updated automatically.
With this technology, implemented with the support of Seal Sistemas – an integrator of advanced technologies for the entire supply chain in Brazil –, Grupo Mateus seeks to offer a differentiated shopping experience to customers, in addition to improving operational efficiency by automating management. of prices.
